recieved an email of a trip (co-organized by Asia Art Archive, Friends of Hong Kong Museum of Arts and Ink Society) to the 5th International Ink Painting Biennial of Shenzhen, "the only event of the kind focusing on the technique of ink painting on an international scale," including curator like Martina Köppel-Yang.
Somehow there is at the moment across the strait also this First Taipei International Modern Ink Painting Biennial, with international artists, including four from HK. There is even a section on Ink Video and involved venues including VT artsalon.
How should HK play this game, ink is trickier than water.
