mMK~牛棚三站遊 仲有菜買添


前日到牛棚藝術村走了一趟,1a的馮文耀展覽,有點Cucchi的味道(那天和新一代藝術學生人提起,原來已不知何為意大利藝術的3c1p(c.c.c.p.)指誰),記得<<明報>>月刊上輪找人寫文,說只想要些亞洲或國際的報導,我特意問那香港呢?編輯的答覆就是不用了,謝謝!真是叫人氣餒.所謂國際視野,編輯就舉了李錦萍寫的Cucchi一文為例,但李錦萍誇張了其寫的Cucchi展覽是其第一次作大型繪畫裝置,我真有點看不過眼,要寫也不一定要作大吧?

藝術公社的後廳重擺其團體於廣州三年展展出的產房,對於借用"生產"概念來舖陳的公仔畫出腸,其實就是不信任其周邊的裝置,這也是前邊資料展中,前九七藝術特區等一批藝術家的特色與常遇敗筆.余大強和鄭嬋琦是其中的少數中大畢業生.中大藝術系畢業生與其他內地,又或設計等背景的藝術家的美學分野,不知為什麼,始終沒有人細論,只要這不是什麼排斥新移民或非正規藝術訓練的意圖,其實很值得研究.或者現在就是愈來愈少人用"taste"來做文章,以"露"來當評語.但結果種種"the obvious"反而沒有人說.

最後碰上蛙王,又聽了他說了一陣子故事,其中談到那些宋朝意筆,仿高劍父的書法等,我早就忘在腦後,蛙王卻始終是呂壽琨的學生.偏偏蛙王大有興趣問我Joseph Beuys的掃街如何說是social sculpture,又或我提到的Rudolf Steiner對Beuys的影響.中西之融通,大概在丁公之後,在蛙王身上其實最得發揮.蛙王說他擔心他的書法被人們理解為美術字,的確,就是我在大學讀過整年書法史,蛙王紙袋上的書法新作,更多使我憶起,是中學做設計時想寫的美術字,唯一不同了的,是心態,明白到了就是美術字,不入傳統而出,其實一樣寫不來.

離開時,經過街市買菜,一於有機會就抵制連鎖超市,這比逛展覽,心情不知好多少倍. (下文再續)

I didn't really read about Rudolf Steiner but I did have some first-person experience in an organic farm run but some followers of Steiner's anthroposophy. I remember making the fertilier at 5pm in the late summer was just like a performance that would be a work by Joseph Beuys. It's rather a ritual; it's really spiritual!
 
I don't know much really, except the Taiwan book on Beuys' anthroposophy and one or two other articles.
My only encounters with his books are memorable, for in European religion, spiritual or new age bkshops, there is often a bookshelf full of his works, which the whole series' backspines formed a spectrum of rainbow colour.
as you might know, one of our schoolmate is recently back from Australia, after attending some coourses associated with the Waldorf School (based on Steiner's teaching).
