borderline has been crossed
Journal Postcolonial Studies has recently published a special issue on HK Handover 10th anniversary. In it, Lo Kwai Cheung's "A Borderline Case" wrote about ELECTION2 (以和為貴), this two lines struck me:

It seems, the righteousness of Hong Kong is really not in the typical Hong Konger any more? why bother universal suffrage?
