This is so contemporary!
My first true encounter with work of Tino Sehgal yesterday in the real MMK, it immediately turn everything else in the museum pale (as did the Slominski's window piece, one of the only few works withstand Tino's impact in their own rights).
[Quite relevant, is a book of 29.9 Euro I saw in Schirn bkshop, with Hans Belting on Contemporary Museum, do wish someone could order it, AAA or some university libraries.]
turn out Portikus has moved, it was closed by the time I arrived there. the former site has turn into a literature house, a sort of "false antique" as we say it. But it seems Georg Buchner prize will be presented there as well, but could that be the artificial state of our lineage?
